Lillis 262 - 6pm - Committee Meetings

Our first meeting of the term will take place this Wednesday the 9th in our new room for the term, Lillis 262 at 6pm. At this meeting, we will briefly discuss what we worked on over the winter break and our future plans for the term. This is a perfect meeting to come hear about the UO AMA and get involved. The majority of this meeting will be spent forming the committees for the "Main Event" which is our annual networking event that takes place on February 20th at 6pm in the Lillis Atrium.

Ron Tinsley (President of Custom Craftworks, Valley Technology and Bodyjazz) will be speaking to the UO AMA about his experience with online marketing and niche products.

Join UO AMA as we engage in committee meetings to move forward our Promotions, Sponsorship and Communications efforts. Any meeting is a good meeting to join a committee and get involved.

After our meeting we will be going to the Wow Hall for the Rock 'n Rag. This will be a fashion show and concert with the Rock 'n Roll Soldiers. The admission is one article of clothing for donation. There will be models representing our club and we need to support them. If we have the most people supporting our models, we will win some money for our club. I hope to see everyone there!

Committee Meetings - October 31st, 2007
6pm - Lillis 132

UO AMA will meet for committee meetings. We will discuss promotions, sponsorship and other exciting opportunities. The Keen Hybrid.Stand event promotions are going on right now and we will analyze this campaign and look from improvements. Any meeting is a good meeting to join UO AMA. Guest Speaker - October 25th: 5pm Lillis 211

On Thursday, Oct. 25th at 5pm in Lillis 211, UO AMA will be having Steve Jett from Lexus to speak about marketing in NASCAR and the successful Toyota Tundra launch.  This is a 100% must see speaker.  He is a marketing guru and an UO alum.  Google his name and you will see all the projects he has been a part of.

On Wednesday, Oct. 24th at 6pm in Lillis 132, UO AMA will be having Deborah Marshall and Derek Bronson of GarageGames to discuss video game marketing strategies, new product placement and being a player in the video game industry.

There are already projects going on right now and it is perfect timing for committees to join in. At this meeting, UO AMA members will form committees and make an immediate impact. Committees include:

• Sponsorship/Fundraising
• Communication
• Case Competition

If you are unsure which committee you want to join, please come anyway and actively listen to get a feel for the committees.
